It was purchased for our 9 month old son and we knew we would want something that would be a good size for him but didn’t overwhelm the living room. It’s also large enough for his two brothers to play with him or one of the adults to climb in. We haven’t tested the zipper door bc we don’t want him to realize any exit strategies. This being our fourth we know how quickly that can happen. The color is great. Simple neutral. Nothing outlandish that hurts the eyes. It’s not portable whatsoever. Unless you empty it and maneuver it through your doorways carefully. The man is somewhat good. About half an inch thick but feels plasticy over styrofoam. I put it underneath and topped it with a thick comforter and then the playpen for plenty of padding when little one falls…bc that is gonna happen. The suction cups don’t work but they do provide protection for hardwood floors. So far it hasn’t tipped over or had any issues. It was simple to put together. Just some poles and connectors slid into the fabric panels. Nothing difficult. I’d say for the entertainment and some relief I get having a safe place for him this is worth every penny. It’s a great height as well. And fits plenty of toys with room to spare.
