I had vaginismus for 10 years and it was a painful problem for me. Although looking back, I actually did not physically need this smaller set, I used it fully starting from the smallest, and it was a huge confidence-booster. I worked through all the sizes in two weeks, spending five days on the first one! I was never in pain once. I also realized that lube can make a huge difference for me in general. The one downside is that the name of the manufacturer is impressed into the shaft, which was noticeable and very slightly uncomfortable when it was twisted (this is part of the exercises you do) where the imprint didn't make it as smooth as it could have been. On the larger size set the manufacturer has done away with this and has put the name of the manufacturer at the base - smarter. I would recommend this to anyone.
