So whats the catch?...... -The box it comes in are a Chinese knockoff. so alot of premium users will get suspicious on if these are junk. the English has tons of grammar error. so just ignore the box. - Sounds great! but the mic is a different story. You will sound a little muffled when using them. they are good for online gaming. but for web chat. it may be a different story. But the mic is omi-directiona... so no mic rod to block you for when you drink or eating something -USB plug is NOT for data!.... Alot of people, especially who use high end headphones. would notice a USB plug along with the 3.5 mm mic plugs. usually the USB is used for surround sound. but this inst the case with these.. The USB is to power the RGB lights on both sides of the headset. - Speaking of LED's they do not come with a light control software. and the lights change by themselves. for me it inst an issue, as I wanted them to cycle anyways. you cannot turn them off (no switch) so unplugging the USB is the only way. and yes the headset works without the USB plugged in. just no lights. great for not disturbing others who are sleeping in the middle of the night. What are these for? For people who are on a budget. There is nothing wrong with being on a budget. Just as long as you get what you pay for. and these makes the exception. so why are they so cheap with a high quality??? no BRANDING. Sure you'll see a brand. but they are from a Chinese company. Ive heard horror stories on getting items from over seas. but guess what??? Those Beats or Apple device you get? are from china.
