Don't use china or open box rods as their Flux sometimes gets oxidized OR HUMID that causes spatter. **Q: Question: bought this machine for fluxcore welding getting lots of spatter during fluxcore welding. stick welds are fine. flux core spatter but why???** A: Flux core usually has lot of spatter by default. If it's more than ordinary then try reducing the Amp setting to see if that helps. **Q: is .8 the only wire we can use also can we use E71T-GS wire** A: E71T-GS is a type of wire. It comes in different sizes.
