IT did not work for me with going from dish network Joey unit (hdmi) to an older TV with rca. I ended up returning it thru Kohl's to Amazon for credit. **Q: Will this work from tcl roku tv arc to a powered subwoofer, while retaining sound at tv speakers?** A: It did not work for mine. **Q: Can you use this to connect Zvox speaker to Samsung one connect box?** A: it didn't work for me, and I only needed it for the red white and yellow. **Q: Can you use these going from a roku device with hdmi going to an old tv that has rca 3 cables?** A: Why would this not work for the situation described? The Roku has an HDMI hole where you would plug in this cord. And then you would take the RCA cables and plug that into the back of the old tv. I don't see why these cables would not work.
