I upgraded to a 1x8 since I actually had 5 outputs. Replacing this was much harder than I thought. This one worked great. I hooked up 5 inputs with long HDMI cables (50-75 feet each). It worked just fine. All 5 TVs showed the same signal without interruption. Previous to buying this one, I bought 2 others that did not work. Unlike the others, this one had a 12W power supply (12V @ 1A). The other ones were only 5W (5V @ 1A). I suspect this contributed to the issue. With the other ones, the video would flicker or not work at all if I hooked up more than 2 inputs. With this unit, it worked flawlessly even with all 5 TVs hooked up and running. If you need a splitter and have long cables, I'd highly recommend this one!
