Have played it both handheld and dock mode through my switch 2 and loving this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by D***. on 16 February 2022* Grew up playing SoR and SoR 2 in the early 90s and this is a very worthy entry into the franchise. Love that it's so faithful to the originals while also adding a few modern tweaks here and there as well as the hand-drawn graphics style which looks perfect. The soundtrack will grow on you after a few playthroughs - Olivier Deriviere did a brilliant job creating the lion's share of the music. Gameplay-wise the input response is flawless. If I had one minor criticism, I think they should have had a lot more type of enemies. In the originals on sega mega drive they were constrained by a 16 bit cartridge and so it had to be that way. Here, the majority of standard enemies are modern versions of the 90s games yet still missing quite a few (clowns, ninjas, Jack, robots) They could have easily doubled the number of unique enemies. Also the bosses.. there could have been more and have been better designed. After a handful of playthroughs you figure out exatly how they operate and they become predictable and too simple to beat e.g. Shiva...
