These are ticker and sole is just rubber with a texture imitating the particles on the Skinners. These has a ticker material and sole making it a bit heavier but providing more padding. Are ok for me up to 45F. Skinners I wouldn't wear them under 50F. Both are nice, these are cheap, I would get a couple of these regardless of having a pair of Skinners.
