A: No metal in this product.

**Q: Can you tell me the thickness of the material when unrolled? (i.e., 1/16"?) Also, how rigid is it... can it lie flat like a sheet? Thank you!**

Thanks for your question. The thickness of 2 holes is thicker. The thin thickness between 2 holes is about 1/16" and the thicker parts are about 1/10". It is 
unable to bend or be forced out of shape.
Besides, you can spread it out like a sheet to install without any creases.

**Q: Will it hold cucumber plants**
A: I am not sure about how the cucumber vines attach to the supports. The mesh is heavy enough to support cucumbers if it is attached to wood or metal stakes. I am using mine to protect a tree from deer rubbing it.

**Q: Can this be painted over?**
A: I would seriously doubt that this can be painted over, as the fencing is very flexible and has a slight sheen to it, so my final answer is to not paint it.

I really like this plastic mesh. It’s heavy duty and reusable. It doesn’t cut cut your hands like regular chicken wire. I use zip ties to attach it to my stakes. It’s successfully kept the squirrels out of my deck-garden. I will definitely purchase this product again.

Purchased this to help close some fence gaps around my property where small animals were getting in. The product is relatively easy to work with and cuts with regular scissors. I do recommend wearing gloves. The product is light weight and flexible, but quite sturdy. I am pleased with the quality and the two pack is a good value. I've this in place for a few weeks now and am very pleased with the protection its providing in my backyard as well as how its holding up to the elements. Will likely purchase more for other projects.
