This is a 24 light starter kit, but if you buy multiple kits, you're still able to connect multiple strands together, and save the extra leads as spares. These are true to there description, the bulbs are place a foot apart, and the total length of each strand with lead is about 26ft. I own a two story home that 2600 square ft. and I purchased 3 sets assuming I could do the first and second level. this was defintely not the case, bad measuring on my part, but I'll be purchasing 3 or 4 more sets to finish off the house so hopefully that can give a little insight on how many sets you need to purchase to do a whole house. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but could be much better. *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2018* I really enjoy the Lumenplay lights, but I am disappointed by the app and its 1, lack of color variety - it doesn't give as many color options as the box implies, certainly, and 2, the app only seems to allow me to use music stored locally on the phone, but this isn't how music really works anymore.
