It is clearly high quality metal. Water pressure in the spray mode is very high so we try and avoid that unless we have some tough stains to clean. One point to note is that the tap is meant for countertops that are at least 2.25ft deep, and there needs to be at least 6inches of clear space between the sink and the backsplash. If you don’t have 6inches of free space, the base just won’t sit. We had 2 countertops of 2ft and 2.25ft, and fell short of the install space in one. We did find a workaround by installing the tap on the side of the sink, rather than behind it. I suggest taking your interiors person to the showroom to inspect the piece before you order.
