Machika Valencian Polished Steel Paella Pan is a skillet made with high-quality thin carbon steel with a polished finish. This pan is designed with built-in handles for easy transportation and handling. The surface features dimples for even cooking. Keep in mind, this material requires extra care and maintenance. After washing, be sure to dry the pan thoroughly and avoid air drying. To preserve the surface, apply a small amount of vegetable oil. This pan is not suitable for use in dishwashers, induction stove-tops, or ovens.

Review: Warped, new out of the box. - I am really disappointed that the bottom of this pan doesn't sit flat. I specifically bought this very expensive paella instead of one of the cheaper brands because the reviews of the cheap ones quite often mention they warp and then won't work well on an induction stove top. I have an induction stove top and didn't want this problem so spent more than 5 times the price to avoid the problem. Took this pan out of the box and it rocks back and forth on the stove top. I haven't even heated it yet. It is literally brand new and unused and doesn't sit flat.

I am really disappointed that the bottom of this pan doesn't sit flat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect paella pan for 2 or 4 people.

It was exactly as expected. First time we used it we made a delicious paella. It’s perfect for what it is. It is carbon steel (not stainless) so you need to oil it after using it; otherwise it will get some surface rust. If it does, just use a steel scrubbing pad to remove the rust, dry it and oil it.
