It may wrinkle a bit with use, but it won't wear out too soon. I do not see any stitching in it which surprised me, but it has for solid screws holding it together and it may be glued as well. I like the simplicity of the design. The hole for the handle is much bigger that I thought, I suppose so it can accommodate a wide variety of handle sizes. (My axes are from Cold Steel.)
