So many great lessons. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's ok to change your mind *by A***A on June 5, 2014* My 2 year old loves this book! We read it before bed and strangely she has woken up in the morning asking for spinach. (No joke, but then she thinks for a while and asks for chocolate.) The story involves a girl in school who dislikes spinach yet changes her mind after she reluctantly accepts the opportunity to grow spinach in class and eats her spinach. I'm not a fan of a couple statements like "stupid spinach", but it doesn't take away from the story or lessons learned. As for learnings, this story has encouraged conversations about it being ok to change your mind about liking something. I've also been able to encourage my daughter to try new foods by doing what Sylvia does: first she smells the spinach leaf, then she licks it, and then she bites into it. We've followed that 'process' with broccoli, and it worked (once).
