Review: Great Quality & Stylish - For those of you who have been following my reviews if any of you exist out there? You probably know that my mother has dementia. Recently, she just got in a Special Care Home and she was living with me before. So her room is now a spare bedroom. I decided that I would take mom away from the home every second weekend but I wanted to surprise her with something nice. So I repainted all the bedroom furniture (see pics), I bought her a new mattress, a platform bed frame so she doesn’t have to sleep on a squeeky box spring, I found a cute lamp on MarketPlace (cute guy delivered it too!), I found these fleece blankets that said I Love Mom on desertcart here and I bought 3 of those. 1 red to give her at mother’s day, 1 blue for the spare bedroom and 1 other red one that I kept for myself (they were buy 2 get +1 free = 3) and I still have a few more things to do in the room before it’s perfect but I needed a new bedspread and I have a quilt on my bed (Nautica bought on desertcart) and I love it so I thought, what about a nice quilt that could match the colour scheme and I stumbled on this one here and I saw it, looked at others, came back to it, and settled on it. It looks fantastic. Very soft and thick too. For a quilt, I would say it’s medium weight. A little above lightweight which is good in my opinion… the heavier the blanket, the better it is (I have a 30LB blanket on my bed - found on desertcart - I didn’t even know those existed and best purchase I ever made) but the quilt set looks amazing. Fits perfectly on the Queen Size Bed and comes with the 2 pillow shams. I really hope mom likes her new weekend room. It motivates me to do some things for mom. I know I wasn’t always the nicest person to mom when growing up and she could have really used a lot more love from me than what I gave but I promised myself that she’s going to hear “I Love You Mom” every day of her life until the day she unfortunately leaves me because now that she’s got dementia, she needs us more than ever and I want to make sure she knows and feels that she’s not a burden and that I enjoy having her around even with dementia! **Q: What is the width of the king size?**
A: Measurements: Quilt 108" x 96", Shams 20" x 36"

**Q: Does king size come with 2 king shams?**
A: Mine measures 27 by 20 inches across the front. My bed is a double bed size. My shams are fine for me but I've had bigger. I really love my bedspread. The bedspread I bought reads -  Lightweight Reversible Bedspread, Queen Size - 92x96". 100% cotton.

**Q: Has anyone washed the pillow shams and one of them turned totally white?**
A: I have not washed the shams yet.  Are the shams roller printed? If they are then I think they will need to be handvwashed

**Q: what size is a king size from side to side, not head to toe**
A: Why not 96 in as stated.

For those of you who have been following my reviews if any of you exist out there? You probably know that my mother has dementia. Recently, she just got in a Special Care Home and she was living with me before. So her room is now a spare bedroom. I decided that I would take mom away from the home every second weekend but I wanted to surprise her with something nice. I love this quilt set! I have been looking for quite a while for a quilt that would be a perfect medium weight and was not too feminine for my husband while still being in colors and with a pattern that I liked, and that would fit my bed the way I want it to. This was a tall order but this lovely quilt set checked all of my boxes and was very budget friendly. This quilt exceeds all expectations. It perfectly hangs to the floor so that I don't need a dust ruffle, but the things stored under my bed are not visible. It is soft and well-made. It is the perfect weight and thickness so we don't sleep too warm or too hot. It brightens my room. Even my sons have commented on how good it looks. I absolutely love it.
