And a Medium action, as you will be in current, and a fast tip will throw off your hook set. I fish in the Pacific, and mainly jig for rock fish. **Q: For the 2 pc with 2 tips rods, do they feel significantly different, does the mh/ with the m tip feel like a normal m?** A: It does feel different but they both feel a bit stiff. It worked fine for me but a M feels like MH and a MH feels H. I enjoy it making my rod work for different locations **Q: What model would you suggest would make a good trolling rod for silver salmon (casting reel)?** A: Try the new Kong rod.
