I had been buying GE LED bulbs from Home Depot, but they apparently stopped carrying this type of bulb. The GE bulbs put out 760 lumens for 10 watts, while these put out 1,000 lumens for 10 watts and the cost per bulb was a iittle less. All good.. I like the daylight color temp of these... helps these old eyes see better. ### ⭐⭐ Color too Harsh for Indoor Use *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2017* Eh - not a fan of the color. EXTREMELY bright - which I usually look for. But the color seems quite harsh - kind of blue. For comparison I have 2 of the https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017WY4IJU  GE Lighting 32309 LED Bright Stik 16-watt (100-Watt Replacement), 1520-Lumen Light Bulb with Medium Base, Daylight, 2-Pack  as well as one of these  GE Lighting 92119 3-Way LED 50/100/150-watt replacement A21 Bulb with Medium Base, Soft White, 1-Pack  - that I'm quite happy with the color. The GE bright stiks are in a fan light and the 3 way bulb on a bedside table. They're fine - the light is very bright and a soft color. I tried these Homelek bulbs in my hallway light fixture outside the other room and everyone that walked around the corner let out a shriek of surprise/protest when the light hit their eyes. It was just too harsh for the eyes - felt like you'd walked onto the set of Close Encounters. Maybe i can use these in a garage utility light - but not indoors. Also - one of the 6 bulbs arrived not set properly in it's base - it was attached at an angle.
