They are a great alternative to the more expensive brands, and I love that they are lightweight! Our first croco was the original that we bought for our first daughter when she was nearly 2, and she loved it! Really put it through its paces, and it held up great until she had maxed out the height of the seat, and the aluminum frame began to bend where it connected to the seat. Here's the thing, the aluminum frame is super light, which was a big deal for us (easier to carry when our kids decide to walk, instead), but it does make it a little more fragile. But knowing how my daughter used the bike, and for how long, and she had absolutely outgrown it before this happened... It totally made sense, and we chucked it, knowing we would buy another for our next kiddo. And that's just what we did! Although, this time, we upgraded to the "sturdy" version, which is only a bit heavier thankfully. We love the foam wheels, and I can't wait to see our soon-to-be 2yo break this one in, as well. Just like her sister, she loves the bell. πŸ’• ALSO, after putting this bike together I noticed one of our wheels was very mishaped. I reached out to Croco on their Facebook page and they responded right away and have sent us a new wheel, I just need to put it on, but I'm very impressed with the customer service!
