Not worried about phone falling off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad for the price... *by P***S on August 5, 2017* This kit installs easily and has the pros and cons one might expect. My phone (Galaxy Note Edge) is a bit on the larger side, so I needed to swap out the elastic strap contraption with the included larger one. Also my hybrid bike's straight handlebar is a bit thick, so I needed to switch to the (thoughtfully provided) longer thumbscrew. As I was hoping from the photos, the plastic clamp is lined with soft silicone(?) type rubber, making for a firm hold, but padded enough to avoid rubbing or marring of the phone case. Use is a little more awkward than I expected; the clamp is (probably for the best) firmly spring-loaded, so you need to pry that apart with two fingers, while dropping the phone in, and it needs to be placed a little off-center lengthwise, due to the shape of the elastic strap. Then the opposite corners of the elastic strap can be placed on (opposite, to keep it from sliding away). It is definitely a two-handed operation, and one I'd tire of if I were getting on and off frequently. I find myself holding my breath when going over bumpy pavement or off-road, but at least in a couple days of use so far, it has shown no sign of looseness. I have snugged up the thumbscrew before rides just to be on the safe side. What I didn't expect is that on my Galaxy Note Edge, the elastic straps cover the app-switch button and "back" button almost perfectly, making it impossible to use them without lifting the strap up. Also it wraps around very close to the power button. Not a massive problem, and so far no functional issues, but it's rather inconvenient if you are trying to switch between cycling app screens, switching between apps, etc. The elastic strap seems to favor holding the phone a bit off-center in the lengthwise direction, again not a problem but kind of odd.
