## Overview

The REEF Men's Phantoms Flip-Flop combines a high-rebound EVA footbed with a synthetic nubuck upper and diamond-textured outsole to deliver superior comfort, durability, and traction. Designed for casual beach and street wear, these lightweight, water-resistant sandals come with a one-year warranty, making them a trusted choice since 1984.

## Description

Beach better with our bestselling Phantom sandals. We built these flip flops to be strong like the tide, with synthetic nubuck upper. Tough like the wind, with a high EVA density outsole for traction. And soft like the sand, with a molded EVA footbed for all-day comfort.

Review: Perfect Flip Flop - These were just right from much research. Heres' why: lightweight, perfect fit for my narrow feet, pebbly footbed aids foot/toes hold, perfect cushion (not squishy or memory foam depressions), color righton, very natural brown, toe strap is comfortable not noticeable, right amount of arch support. Overall nice looking. This is probably their cheapest but best. I've had two other pairs of reef flip flops but german shepherd puppy chewed them up badly, so now just use them for dirty or yard work.
Review: My favorites - I prefer reef sandals. Feel good and true to size.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what's the difference between these and their older version?**
A: They may “look” like the older version, however, the new version is of a much lesser quality. The sizing is different, the materials are different, and the bottom of the sandal is no longer the non slip rubber of prior years. For example: The new size 13 is 3/4” shorter in length and is 1/4”narrower. FYI: Reef was bought out in 2018. This is precisely when quality dropped and they thought nobody would notice other than their share holders!

**Q: Is this for one sandal or a pair of sandals?**
A: You actually end up recieving 3 sandals. When you buy a pair, they include a free ambidextrous sandal. If you lose one then the extra will fit either foot. Talk about forward thinking! Just WOW!

**Q: How long is size 11? Hubby needs a new pair, but can't remember what size he has.**
A: I’d suggest buying at least 1-size larger than your shoe size. If you have flat/wide feet you might even need to go up two full sizes. Around 2018 Reef was bought out and it appears that size adjustments were made. For example, a size 13 is now 1/4” narrower and 3/4” shorter in length than they were 4+ years ago! I thought either Amazon sent the wrong size or that I had ordered the wrong size…nope! Invoice, stickers and labels all indicate a size 13.

**Q: Will these fly off my feet? Will I have to grip them with my toes every time I take a step?**
A: I can't honestly answer this as I have opposable big toes. My toes naturally grip these bad boys like a monkey foot grips a vine while climbing. A grown man couldn't pry these things off my feet with both hands and a crowbar.
