My shower is open--so the steam and the fragrance dissipate quickly. I feel certain that if my shower was enclosed, I would be able to smell the pods more easily. I have a caddy hanging from my showerhead. It is the perfect spot for the pod since it can't have water hitting it directly. I am still using the 1st pod after having taken 9 showers with it.
