There is so much detail in this outfit. I love the embroidered patches on the sleeves and all the little extra pieces that come with it even the details on the hat are super ornate. I did read somebody’s review about the handcuffs breaking easily so I was trying to make sure that my toddler handles everything gently since it’s only August and we need this for Halloween and of course I end up breaking the handcuffs trying to get them off my wrist, but you can buy handcuffs anywhere so I’m not worried about it. My toddler is obsessed with police and he’s absolutely in love with this costume. I paid twice as much for a basic costume in stores last year and it didn’t have nearly as much detail as this one I got a size small for my three year-old he’s a little over 3 foot tall and he’s a little on the husky side at 52 pounds. He wears size 6–7 in little boys sizing and this costume fits him great I just need to hem the pants because they’re too long for him. The top has Velcro closure. The buttons are not real and the pants have just an elastic waistband so it’s super stretchy and comfortable for the kiddos. Very impressed. I will be buying this next year if he decides to be a police officer again. My only complaint is I bought this and it said it would be here the next day and it got delayed several times in transit, but I don’t think that had anything to do with the seller I think that was just desertcart having issues with delivery so if you plan on buying this for Halloween, I would buy this well in advance in case it gets stuck in transit/delayed. Review: Super cute and great value! Runs a size small - Ordered for my 7 year old son for Halloween -he LOVED it! Quality was much better than the super thin/flimsy material typically seen on kid's Halloween costumes and you also receive the accessories with this costume, so it's a great value. Costume definitely runs small (as most Halloween costumes do) and the 8-10 sizing fit him perfectly -he was a solid size 7, so I cannot imagine a child who wears anything larger than an 8 being able to wear this sized costume. Accessories are dollar store quality, but are super cute and work well with the costume. I used velcro to attach the walkie talkie to his shirt and the whole look was adorable. I paid almost 3 times this amount for his firefighter costume and this one may not have been 'heavy duty' quality like that one, but it didn't look 'cheap' at all and was JUST as cute in my opinion. I also preferred the lighter material on this one as we are in FL and he was super hot in the firefighter costumer, since it's typically 80 degrees on Halloween for us. As some other reviewers have stated, the costume does come with a toy plastic gun ---I solved this by simply not allowing him to take that particular accessory with him to school when he wore the costume (he still wore the holster, but just kept it empty) and I did allow him to wear it on Halloween night when I was with him, but just made sure that he understood the gun had to stay IN the holster at all times. Obviously, you can decide to just remove it altogether if this is your preference and voila-problem solved. ## Features - The Boy Police Officer Costume for Kids Set Includes a Shirt, Pants, Hat, Belt and other necessary police accessories. - Our Cosplay Kids Police Officer Uniform Halloween Costumes is guaranteed to be Durable because it is made of Higher Quality materials that also boasts its unique design made with 100% Polyester for maximum comfort. - Hand Wash Cold. He is about 54 inches and skinny** A: We purchased for a 6 year old that is tall about 50 inches and he had plenty of room and length **Q: Can I order S for 7 years old? He is little more than 49 inches and skinny** A: I would order a medium, not a small. **Q: What size would my 50lb 4 year old wear hes a bigger/taller boy? Wears 7t in clothes** A: The costume is true to size so I would order a 7. However, it came very damaged with a hole in the hat a hole in the shoulder and all the tread stitching is going to come apart under the arm. I’m sending it back. I would recommend a different costume. I read a lot of the reviews and a lot of people complained about the patches not attached and holes. It’s very true! **Q: My son wears a 10-12 is clothing so what would be the best size to buy?** A: Large is for 10-12 year old boy. The approx. height is 55-58 in. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There’s a new officer in town! *by J***B on August 9, 2026* If I could rate this costume 10 stars, I would. First online costume that has blown me away. Nice material, so many added gadgets that kids will love that light up and make noises. He looked so legit and he was thrilled. The costume was a little large but with boots it didn't matter. ## Frequently Bought Together - JOYIN Toy Halloween Toddler Police Costume, Police Officer Costume for Boys, Kids Cop Outfit for Halloween Pretend Roleplay - Dress Up America Pretend Play Officer's Megaphone with Siren Sound for Kids – Role Play Kids Bullhorn with Siren Sound and Handheld Mic Toy - IVENRXIU Police Toys, Police Pretend Play Toys for Dress Up, Role Play Set with Police Accessories, Handcuffs, Warning Light, Police Badge, Birthday Halloween for Kids Boys Girls --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/34075959-toy-halloween-toddler-police-costume-police-officer-costume-for-boys](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/34075959-toy-halloween-toddler-police-costume-police-officer-costume-for-boys) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
