Excellent strength and they last around 2-3 days. Remember these are cochlear batteries, so those cochlears take a lot of drain on batteries! ( NEVER use regular hearing aid batteries as you'll drain them fast!) These work exceptionally well! As for the child safety packaging: 1 star but it's now law these have to be that way. ADVICE- HOW I GOT AROUND IT. I kept 5 or 6 of the olde packaging that is not child proof. I got a large one week vitamin sorter container. When the new batteries come in, I spend 20 minutes with the scissors opening all the batteries into the vitamin container, making sure the stickers never come off. Then I simply fill the old empty battery container and keep it in my pocket for the day.
