The electric bill was not as high as last year using separate space heaters. There's one at one end of the manufactured home and the other at opposite end separated by about 60 feet. I use 3 ceiling fans running on low speed to draw air up and ithroughout the house. That seems to work pretty well. Hadn't tried them without the ceiling fans. They're quiet. We're in extreme N. Arizona and Winter hasn't been very "usual" yet. It usually gets down to single or very low double digits.. more Winter to come so we'll see. Minus is that if you have a power failure: you'll have to power up and reset the temp etc again. Don't come back on nor return to original settings. Easy to clean the filters. Good product to date. It is below zero here now and no problem. My office has warmed up from being 14 C to 18 C in that half hour (It normally warms up faster if I have the door closed). I've very happy with the product and doing the math for these along with using our propane fireplace is going to save us quite a bit over the winter. I can't comment on their durability but I've been using mine for around 2 weeks or so now and very happy. The remote is okay.
