These bumpers do the job fairly well, but they come with no fastening hardware. You will have to come up with your own screws, washers, etc. You can't see it from the photo but they have two grommeted holes at the ends of the bumper where you will presumably screw them into the wood planks rimming your slip.I was able to do this and they work, but they sag down at the middle because there isn't anything to secure them right at the corner. It seems to be protecting my boat and has a lot of give when the boat comes up to it. I bought the corner and four straight pieces and place them about a foot apart. I also used bumper guards on my boat but these make it completely safe to dock your boat. I got them on sale and they were a great buy. I will definitely be replacing them with the same type of bumper when they wear out .
