Review: Works as advertised - I record as a hobby and finally decided to move into the digital age. For the last few decades, I have been using analog tape. This interface worked as advertised and was very easy to setup and use (BTW I am no computer genius); I had a much steeper learning curve with the Reaper software I am using compared to this interface. It is cheap (i.e., no bells and whistles) but has everything on it I need. I have used it a couple of times to record a live band and I was surprised at the performance of this interface. I have not made any measurements but to my ears, the noise floor is quite low. The preamps sound good, although I have mainly used the line inputs. I give this 5-stars because it is exactly what I ordered and works better than I had hoped.

**Q: Can you plug a single stereo 6.35mm cable into one of your 4 inputs, and will it stay stereo?**
A: Each input is a mono input. So you would not have stereo if you put a stereo signal into the input. The inputs are balanced, meaning they have the same number of a connectors as an unbalanced stereo input, but they aren't being used in the same way as the headphone output of your phone or something like that. Instead of offering two unbalanced signals, it's supporting one balanced signal per input.

**Q: Can this be used standalone as a mixer without a computer?**
A: Absolutely you can use this as a standalone mixer if you like; the headphone monitor port could be used as output but there's also RCA jacks on the back as well.

**Q: Does it come with rack ears?**
A: No

**Q: Can u use this without computer.. just a speaker for outdoor gig?**
A: Not sure, there is probably a way to but don't think of it like a mixing board either. You're much better off just finding a cheap multi input mixing board for like $200-300 rather than getting a standalone audio interface, that is directly designed for recording not necessarily outdoor gigs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First and Now Favorite Brand

This was my first audio interface, recommended by a friend, and it made such an impression on me that it will be my brand of choice. The value was great, not very budget breaking. I did have some initial issues as I tried to find the right driver to work with my daw, probably user error, but once that was worked out everything was great. I use it every day, it only has 4 inputs so I have to switch them out a lot for different instruments. So far it has been very sturdy with all the removing and inserting inputs. Absolutely 0 latency that I have experienced. Will be looking for one with more inputs soon, as I plan to have a second recording station.
