I never knew if the person was hooking it up correctly. And if not, what happens if their car messes with my cars electrical system - it could fry the components. And conversely, what happens if when you start your car, YOUR car sends a surge through theirs - now you just thanked a helping angel with future car issues. This power bank and jump starter, solves all of those issues. After having it in my car for less than a week, I used it to jumpstart my car, my tractor, I charged my phone from zero, and then a friend needed a jump the next day. One charge handled all of these uses. I fully charged it the following day- but I am not sure it would have needed it. This power bank will start basically any car or truck with its amperage and standby power. I am very happy with this purchase. Pros: 1. Outstanding power. 2. Ease of use 3. Includes a cigarette lighter receptacle - (making it possible to inflate tires, or power a radio, or anything else that might utilize a cigarette lighter plug/cord.) you don't have to plug it into your car - always a plus.
