Nothing changed. Toilets backed up and nothing was moving. I have a 4" PVC outside the house to my Septic Tank. I can easily see water flow. Put 1/2 bottle into my shower drain, and guest shower drain. Let it sit overnight with nothing being used, NO WATER. Then this AM gave it a test, WHOOOSSHHH whatever was clogging my pipes is gone. Went to every toiled and flushed TP to I can see it come out, all 3 came out and flowed free. I think not flushing the Roebic K-97 ,and pouring it onto the shower in each bathroom and allowing it to work overnight did the trick. I had it rotored out once or twice a year, but then finally hired a plumber with a camera on his line. It turns out the the poorly laid garage foundation (from the 1970's, now cracked) allowed a lot of water to erode soil underground and the pipe had dropped down and formed a "belly," where waste would accumulate and have to try to flow upwards to the riser. The plumber recommended that I use a product for septic tanks, adding a small amount to a toilet in the upstairs once a week to keep waste, grease, soap and paper digesting. A year later, I've had no problems. And from what he saw with his camera, he thought that there were never tree roots in the main line. If fact, it seems to be made of metal, not tile. You've gotta love old houses! And hate them, too, sometimes. **Q: do you put it in all the toilets in the house or just one (for prevention/maintenance)?** A: I only put it in the toilet farthest from the street. But that is also the one with the clogging problem in my house **Q: Will this help keep my toilet from "gurgling" when the washing machine drains and spins ?** A: Probably not. More than likely you either don't have a drain vent or yours has become clogged. If you have them, they usually are sticking up out of the roof. You can simply dump a gallon of water or bleach/water mixture down them and they will clear up. If you don't have them, you would have to add them to stop the gurgling. This product cleans out the crap that has been building up in the drains...it does work...slowly (most safe products are slow), but it does clear the drain. (the fast stuff ends up eating away your pipes) **Q: 3 story house 3 toilets.
