**Q: Will the bms allow for 3 batteries connected in series to get 36v without cutting out?**
A: No, the battery is limited to 2 in series

**Q: What is the best way to cover and protect the terminals?**
A: There are no terminals in the traditional sense.  They are threaded inserts that are lower than the level of the battery top.  The only exposed part is the screw heads that fasten your cable connectors to the battery.  If you put the battery in some kind of battery box, there should be no issues.

**Q: Can this be used as a replacement for the 12 volt battery (for starting and accessories) on a first generation nissan leaf?**
A: Yes it can, it only takes 185 watts of power to switch on the main pack and it take over the 12v bus. There are decades of documentation of many people using LiFePO4 12v 20ah batteries to do this on many generations of Leaf. This battery is rated nominal for 256 watts, so it can handle it. The only issue is the wiring adaption, you'll need someone knowledgeable to do it correctly. If you live in an extreme cold area, you might not want to do this though, that's the caution.

**Q: How can i tell when my eci power 5ah is charged?  the charger i bought doesn't ever get to the fully charged status light. will batt voltage indicate?**
A: This is a common issue with a Lithium Foe charger unless it was specifically designed for that battery with an indicator. There it would be best to charge it only when supervised and take reading with a volt meter. Typically they read 14.7 fully charged otherwise one can purchased their designed charger at a much higher expense.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as a replacement for APC BEM425M UPS Battery Backup.

This replaced the failing original battery in an APC BEM425 uninterruptible power supply. The physical dimensions and connector size match the original battery, and it fits perfectly in place of the old one (see side-by-side pictures of the original black battery and the new red/black battery). Replacement took under 5 minutes (with guidance from the YouTube video "APC BEM425 Battery Backup Replacement Instructions" by John Charette). The UPS powered on and has been running for over 24 hours with no error. I unplugged the UPS to verify that the battery works to provide power, to a wifi route in my case, and it does for at least 30 minutes. I can't comment yet on long-term performance, but will update this review if I have any new information.
