Even in the Edge, honestly. Unless you have a mini van and are going from the very front to the very back, I would say 6 is prob fine. The longer ones are very cumbersome and my vent adapter actually broke because the longer one got caught under something in the car and pulled it off. My poor son gets sent back there often now that the car seat takes up so much space.
