I like this scrub as an alternative to premier skin care brands. It does the job just as good, it’s rough enough to feel an impact on skin without irritation, no gross smell, and reasonable cost.

I struggle with adult hormonal acne so I rotate using a number of topical products to treat it that cause my skin to lightly peel and flake (benzoyl peroxide, retinol, glycolic, clay masks, vitamin c serum). This makes applying BB cream, liquid foundation, powder mineral foundation, or finishing powder a nightmare because even if I moisturize well.....the minute any type of make-up hits those areas they show up instantly! This 3% glycolic scrub helps enormously! I have a tolerance built up to exfoliating chemicals so it is no problem for me to gently massage this on my damp face 1-2 minutes, let it set for 5-15 minutes, then I dampen my fingers and wet it again massaging another 1-2 minutes and rinse it off. It helps to loosen and remove most of the peeling or flaking skin, prepares the surface of my skin for moisturizer and then I apply my make-up. It leaves your skin "as smooth as a baby's butt". Due to the 3% glycolic acid, it also helps to treat my acne lesions, so it is a win-win situation. I love the way this makes my face feel! This has helped a lot with my skin care. I am acne prone, but my skin is on the drier side. This helps really deep clean my pores once a week, then I make sure to put a good moisturizer on afterwards.
