I have elaborate tattoos all over my back, one on my thigh and now most recently two on either sides of my rib cage. I have never had an infected tattoo before this last time with the one on my left rib cage. I love all my tattoos but it was definitely going to be my show-stopper. Part of it was a beautiful jewel but the infection caused layers to slough off and scab over so that when I took antibiotics and the scab finally cleared, it was a fuzzy pink mess. I was HEARTBROKEN. No idea how/why it happened; I followed all the usual aftercare and I go to the premiere tattoo parlour in my state who is absolutely sterile. Though it looked awful when it healed all the way like 5 months later, luckily the skin had no actual glossy/shiny/scarred texture changes, only a pinkish hue to it. So my artist said she'd be good to touch it up. I vowed to never go through that again and to have the beautiful jewel I had set out for initially and researched until I found this product to make damn sure I had the best healing experience. And I DID. I washed with antibacterial soap and water and put it on right when I got home and it was amazing. The effects were instant. I had the least amount of swelling, redness and pain with this redo than I've ever had with any of my other pieces AND I don't think I ever leaked any plasma or anything! It is solid at room temperature so I followed what some of the other reviewers said, by rubbing it around with your index finger in your other palm so it softened and liquefied and it worked like a dream. I got a rather large tattoo on my arm and my tattoo artist gave me a small sample to put on after washing. I ordered a bigger size ASAP... when I don’t put it on, I have a major case of the itches (which is BAD), and I really think it has helped my tattoo through the healing process.Fair warning: if you get this delivered in hot weather and it sits on your porch, DONT OPEN IT RIGHT AWAY!!
