With that said, I operate mine with approx 20 psi, and it fails to cycle without a little help at first. I'm guessing poor machining, improper tolerances, or poor choice of seal material. **Q: Can this be normally closed and open when energized?** A: BA says here this is "normally closed", yet the description says "normally open". Though the diagram seems to show that P-->A is NC. They replied to my own question with off-topic nonsense about port AB and B, when this unit has P, R and A. So they seem to confuse this unit with a 5-port one. **Q: Nc or no? "【product name】 (normally open) " does not match the diagram on the product body.** A: The port on the side by itself is the common port. Think of it as "AB". The ports on the opposite side are as follows: the port closest to the solenoid is "A", and is normally open (NO). The port furthest away from the solenoid is "B", and is normally closed (NC). **Q: Why are there 2 power source? Does the valve spring open when power is cut or does it require 2 separate 12v one to open and one to close?** A: There's is only a single power source, which pulls the valve plunger towards the solenoid, opening the common port to the port furthest from the solenoid.
