This was a user error for me, but also people were complaining about a whistling noise which there is a whistling noise, but if you put the factory gasket from the factory mirrors onto your non-factory mirror, the one that you buy, the whistling will delete itself the air gets into the plastic covering that connects onto the door, so with the thicker gasket from OEM Ford will fix it. Do not throw that gasket out.
