Β The package was delivered on time and there were no broken or missing parts. I purchased this gas log set because I already had a gas starter for my wood-burning fireplace so there was no need to run in a gas line. I was getting tired of bringing in logs from the back yard and then having to clean up the ashes a couple of days later so the idea of a gas-log set was pretty appealing. However, my expectations were relatively low as I really enjoy a nice fire and thought a gas set would look fake. This unit far exceeded my expectations. Now, on the negative side, it's not real wood. But, on the positive side, it's not real wood (which often had bugs and beetles hitchhiking there way into my nice warm home).Two recommendation though: 1. Order the gas line. I had a heck of a time finding anything from the hardware store that wasn't bright yellow (meant for a gas stove). 2. Order the Lava-Fyre granules. I just ordered mine and, as you can see from the photo, the bare bricks on the bottom of the fireplace look stark. The granules should help.If you're on the fence about switching over to a gas log set, jump off.
