They appeared to be really cool and perfect for daily commuting. But, I was skeptical. I have been cycling for over 20 years. I have raced various disciplines and I use the bike as a daily commuter. I live in busy metropolitan city, so safety and being seen is key. I felt like this helmet would be a great addition to my safety on the bike (particularly the turning signals). But, I wanted to watch the reviews before I invested. After monitoring the reviews for a year and noticing very little negative feedback, I had to give it a try. I have been using the Lumos Ultra for a month now, and I am very impressed. It's easy to use, I love the ability to customize the configurations and the app is user friendly. I have even started using my Ultra on training rides where city miles are involved. I am very pleased with the purchase and I recommend. *I gave four stars to the weight. However, that is an insignificant critique.
