Recording time is limited by the 4 gigabyte file size limit of the fat32 file system on the sd card. With the default settings, it will quietly stop recording after roughly 23 minutes (at 1080 resolution). I thought it would start new files until the card was full, but no.Con: Uses old, lossy video compression. This camera records MJPEG in an AVI container (widely compatible but a larger file size for a given length of time the newer h.264 codec). Video from this camera may have to be transcoded before it will play back on your TV.Con: I was hoping to take stills and video at the same time (like a GoPro), but this camera stops taking timelapse stills when you start taking video. Camera did not advertise this feature, but I was hoping.Pro: worked with third party GoPro mounts purchased from Amazon.Pro: the battery lasted almost exactly the advertised 90 minutes. ### ⭐⭐ Huge potential, huge disappointment. *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2018* I really wanted to love this camera as being one of the great examples of an inexpensive Chinese knockoff that provided adequate performance to the premium cameras. It came in a very nice box and includes several useful attachments for the plastic protective case, allowing you to mount it in various ways. The camera's operation is pretty simple, and there aren't a bunch of fancy settings. I wanted something simple and it seemed to fit the bill. The price is great, and although it's not the cheapest camera out there, it's among the least expensive for a 1080p video camera.Unfortunately, the video quality is pretty poor and the battery doesn't last more than half an hour. I can't use it for snow-boarding, biking, or rollerblading, which is what I mostly wanted to do with it. I stuck it in the back of one of my Hummers as a rear-facing DVR cam and just leave it plugged in at all times. That's about all it seems useful for, sadly. I really wanted to love it but I can't say that I do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value!! *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2018* Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This isn't the best action camera in the world, but it's pretty decent. Small sacrifice to save hundreds of dollars! The app is very handy for controlling the camera, but I would suggest importing your videos directly from the MicroSD card vs. downloading through the app. I feel the quality of the video is a little better that way. For those who are interested in "motovlogging", I think this will produce some pretty respectable content for the money. But, you should know, there is no input for an external mic. There is an easy solution to that! I record my audio seprately with an app on my phone, then sync the audio to the video in post edit. This is common practice in video production anyway. Being that may not be practical for some, there's all kinds of video tutorials out there for modifying these "knockoff" action cameras with a 3.5mm port for an external mic. Easy!
