The advantage is that I feel the grooves on the ground, which I found interesting as opposed to shoes. Your taste may differ, but I use this to immerse myself in the walk or at the gym. It will look weird, however, when used normally in public places because it will look like you forgot to put your shoes on and just went with your socks :)Overall I would have given it a 5-star review, BUT I ordered the same thing for my wife, and there was an issue: the sizes offered are not comprehensive:- 38/39 was too big for my wife- 36/37 was too smallI was lucky with mine, which fit well, but unfortunately, my wife couldn't use them.I would advise the makers to add more sizes in between.
