The rear passenger light was a little tricky since the plug is behind the rear A/C, so you do have to remove some of the plastics and pull back the side that covers the A/C, and the plug is attached to the wall... that was the fun part... getting that plug off of the wall.. After plugging in the new light on that side, I pulled the plug and wire over and zip tied it to the other wire harness to keep it away from the rear A/C fan instead of reattaching it to the inner wall that you barely have enough room for your fingers to fit down there... But.. at the end of it all.. it was well worth it!!! It really didn't take but an hour to do it all and most of that was on that one light! They fit my Hummer H2. **Q: Do I need to buy gaskets ?** A: No gaskets needed their pre installed **Q: Can i cut and splice it to the old factory wire?** A: No need to cut and splice anything - these plug into the factory wire - they actually plug into the bulb socket **Q: Which wire in the 2 wire setup is positive? Have to modify connection since plug setup is not as stock setup.** A: I would jumper it to make sure. Installation was easy, and an exact replacement. I couldn't tell which was red or yellow because they're clear, but the electrical connections are different so you really can't screw this up!
