My 3 and 5 year old have been swinging around play swords for the last year and my husband and I decided to upgrade their swords to something a little more hefty. The quality is shocking. The sword is heavy, but my three year old still has no problem lifting and playing with the sword. I’m not sure how it’s made but I think there might be a bar running through the center of the sword.. but the end of the sword is very soft and bendable. Since my kids have been taught how to handle swords, I’m not concerned about them getting injured. The design is medieval and looks legit and they can put the sword in a hip scabbard and it just touches the ground for my three year old (he’ll grow into it).
