However it is fantastic to use on carpets and very lightly on my fabric settee. This item has proved to be great, I am always surprised how much it fetches of my carpets even after I have vacuumed. I do have a dog that molts all year round. **Q: Can it be used for 100% wool Chinese carpet ?** A: I would assume so. Just note if fibres are coming out and stop using it but I would think it’ll be dust and hair trapped in the carpet **Q: How does it not damage the carpet? If you use a lint remover on clothes over time the jumper wears thin.** A: I wouldn’t recommend using it daily as I think it will damage the carpet.
