Do not recommend **Q: Length 7.3 inches - Width 5.9 inches and Height is 3.9 inches -- Really???** A: The measurements are 6 1/8" tall x 3 3/4" in diameter (the inside measurement of the cup). The handle sticks out from the cup 2", so the width (diameter plus the handle) is 5 3/4". It's well made and the lettering does not come off in the dishwasher. (I bought one from another company and the lettering came off immediately.) **Q: It says "be careful when using hot water." Can boiling water be poured into this? It is advertised up to 1040 degrees fahrenheit.** A: I boil water in mine in the microwave three or four times a day, and I've been doing it for months. No problems. But it's always a good idea to be careful when using boiling water - no mater what it's in! **Q: 4 cups equals 945.35 ml so how is this measuring cup accurate if it has 4 cups equal to 1000 ml?** A: The different measurements are on there for measuring different recipes and they are not interchangeable as you did an example. You only use the measures that your recipe calls for. If your recipe calls for cups, you use the cups if your recipe calls for milliliters or fluid ounces then you use those measurements.
