Because a LOT of the descriptions/names/etc for the sheets on here are very inaccurate... Sheets that label themselves as silk/satin will actually list the materials as polyester and nylon, sheets that advertise as pure bamboo will actually turn out to be only 30% bamboo and 70% other material, etc and so on. I do agree that it's misleading but definitely would not hold this brand up as being singular in their tactics as it appears to be a common one. Happy sheet hunting, all! **Q: Do these sheets feel like jersey sheets?** A: They feel like jersey sheets. I'm returning. **Q: What is the thread count?** A: Technically there is no "thread count" as they are microfiber sheets, not cotton. They are about 90 GSM which is comparable to say 500 thread count sheets. Microfiber is a softer yarn than cotton. **Q: Are these sheets hot to sleep in?** A: These sheets are hot to sleep in and I find this makes them uncomfortable. Immediately upon hitting the pillow for sleep I regretted buying these as they do not feel cool to the touch. I enjoy the cool, thicker cotton sheets that have enough bulk to cool down so that next time I change positions I'm met with another sensation. The cooling feeling helps relieve joint pain as well.
