Please note that this is a manual lens, so you will not be getting autofocus. **Q: Can i put a lens hood on this lens?** A: Yes. The Meike 35mm f1.7 lens on a micro 4/3 Olympus or Panasonic is the equivalent to a 70mm lens on a 35mm full frame camera. I do use a 49mm screw metal hood on that lens that is about 3/4 to 1 inch deep. The hood does not truncate the picture (does not cause vignetting of the lens).
