Review: Air Venturi Foster Female Quick-Disconnect - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - For those of us in the PCP Airgun Hobby, there's definitely a need for high quality & perfect fitting connectors.. Over the years, I've tried several different brands/styles, but, these Air Venturi QD fittings are some of the best! When installing to the hose-end-threads, I have one little trick.. Rather than using 'white' thread tape, I use 'yellow thread tape'. [it's better/thicker - used on gas pipe threads] Since doing that years ago [even on high pressure pneumatic air ride auto/cycle suspension, it's worked Great] These fittings thread on flawlessly, connect and disconnect flawlessly, and they've been paired with several different brand male fittings with zero issues at all. I have handfuls of them at this point.. Highly Recommended! Sam -
Review: Quality item - This foster fitting is of the highest quality. I originally had ordered this item to replace a newly ordered one which came on a Airforce Scuba K valve for filling my Airforce Condor. The K valve was in excellent shape upon arrival, however, the Female foster fitting leaked air furiously, and looked like it was part of a previous return and swapped onto my new unit. I however did not know that the threading on the Air Venturi is different than that of the Airforce Scuba adapter, one is course thread, the other fine thread, Excellent quality , yet, would not fit no matter my effort or wishing it do so. Have initiated the return process and am grateful for that. Again a quality item, yet it will not fit therefore I cannot use the item

**Q: Will this female disconnect work like a check valve if connected to PCP tank?**
A: I to not believe that this part will act as a check valve.  On the Benjamin Marauder, the check valve is part of the Fill Adapter Assembly in the gun's air reservoir.

**Q: Will this work with a ninja hpa tank?**
A: They all seem to have the same fittings , so I don’t see any issues

**Q: Whats the little screw for. I know it screws into the back of the foster fitting.  But whats its purpose?**
A: Not knowing what you’re talking about I looked at the picture and that’s the screw into the hose and tighten up so you can air up your PCP

**Q: Would the male threaded end be compatible with the hatson tactair 3 stage pump and the female quick disconnect end compatible with benjamin akela?**
A: If the threads on your pump are are bspp threads and your fill probe is a foster quick connect then will work fine
