The fabric is thick and opaque enough to hide undergarments but still light and flowy enough to be comfortable in the hot summer heat. It doesn’t tend to wrinkle badly and the fabric texture makes any wrinkles unnoticeable. Sorry for the weird photo angle here! I promise it’s cute! My only note would be that as a long torso 5’6” pear shaped person, I would not recommend bending over to pickup an item in this. It also does not have pockets. I think this is great dress for a night out with the hubby!! It’s not going to be the pick for the event as I liked another more subtle dress instead, but I’m happy I went for it! I love it!
