DE lights are the next step in HID lighting. The basic components remain the same, but the technology has evolved to allow the DE fixture to produce more blues and more reds in the PAR spectrum. This means the type of light your plants receive is closer to that of the sun. Another advantage of a DE ballast is that is produces more light than any 1000W HPS. The Nanolux Remote DE Ballast also has the highest luminous flux output on the market at 160,300lm and an output of 1200 watts. The revolutionary new Greenhouse reflector creates a much wider open coverage area and is preferred on larger scale grows. The custom reflector wastes less light and helps eliminate hotspots by reflecting light back onto the canopy. The Greenhouse reflector also features new heat dispersion fins which dissipate heat more efficiently, allowing the Paralux to run at temperatures cooler than most other double ended light fixtures. The lower operating temperature is less than standard HPS fixtures and results in a longer life to both the fixture and the bulb. The Paralux Double Ended bulb is gas filled, which allows for a smaller arc tube, improving spectral and optical control. There is also no frame wire inside the lamp, eliminating shadows in the beam and extending the life of the bulb. These new cutting edge features are the reason the Paralux is one of the most powerful grow lights on the market today.
