So that .125 needs divided by 2 as you said. **Q: Is this a 3/8" OD coil, w/ 1/8" ID? OD is critical, ID is not so much. Wall thickness 0.20 Yes?** A: The coils we sale are 3/8" OD x 1/4" ID Wall Thickness 1/8" or .1250 **Q: I’m trying to make a pool heater. How much heat can this take?** A: Fair to good amount of heat depending on the application you intend to use to heat the water running thru it. I wouldn't put it in a fire pit and then try to circulate water thru it, lol. In my Herms set-up I run 212* through it when cleaning the one I use as a my wort chiller but in my mash-tun I use it to circulate water ~ 152* + or - 1-10* through the grain to hold my grain at temp depending on the style of beer I'm making . Unless you're worried about sanitation, I'd urge you to use COPPER and larger diameter tubing. Cheaper tubing, cheaper fittings and a larger dia. would be more efficient heating a larger amount of water. No idea what size pool you're trying to heat but if it's more than 20 gallons (my brewpot & mash-tun size) you might be waiting for a while.... **Q: What is the wall thickness of this tubing?** A: I do not have the specific specifications but it is very rigid tubing, it can be bent but it takes quite a bit of effort...
