Delicious and addicting. High protein and high fiber
Soooooo good. My favorite snack. It’s hard not to binge on them actually. Satisfying, almost like a Payday bar but without the sugar. I have a limited diet right now but my body is cool with these ingredients. A little spendy, but totally worth it. The creamy version is good too, but this kind is my favorite of the two. I love how much protein and fiber it has!

Great Tasting Low Sugar Protein Bar With Just The Right Amount Of Crunchiness
I initially ordered the creamy peanut butter version and found them to be excellent but felt I needed to change it up a bit and add some crunchiness so I ordered a box of these bars. These are just as excellent tasting as the creamy versions but have that crunchiness that just adds something to the overall enjoyment and fulfillment. I keep these within arms reach so when I get my afternoon or late morning hunger pangs I can easily grab one and that satisfies my hunger until our next meal. I did a good bit of research on food bars and tried some from our local supermarket before settling on this brand primarily due to the peanut butter content and very low sugar. I will definitely be keeping a supply of this brand and the creamy brand on hand from now on.

Warning: New ingredients inferior, contain potential mutagen
We have been buying Raw Rev Glo protein bars for many years. My Amazon order history alone shows 34 boxes bought and that's excluding those purchased elsewhere. I know this product and various flavors well; regular purchases included Creamy Peanut Butter, Crunchy Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Mixed Nuts & Caramel.Unfortunately, I will never buy these again.Sad, because they are a very low sugar vegan protein bar, but the lack of sugar doesn't compensate for the risk of the new ingredient they're using; Rebaudioside M.Previously, Raw Rev protein bars were sweetened with a prebiotic known as isomaltooligosaccharide (IMO). These are short-chain carbohydrates that have a digestion-resistant property, meaning they are slowly absorbed and not completely absorbed. In other words, great for blood sugar.Contrary to Raw Rev Glo's very misleading packaging which says "stevia free" (see attached photo, box on right), this product does indeed contain Reb M (which is short for Rebaudioside M). Reb M is the primary steviol glycoside found in the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant responsible for its sweetness. While it is true that Raw Rev Glo does not derive their Reb M from Stevia rebaudiana plant directly, they do use the identical molecule which is derived unnaturally (via a man-made process) using specialized yeast. The "sugarcane Reb M" is merely marketing, as it means the yeast use sugar as their feed. In actuality, almost any carbohydrate-rich feed would work (such as corn or wheat), so don't misconstrue the "sugarcane" as meaning this sweetener is a derivative of sugarcane. Rather, the GMO yeast merely feed off the sugarcane to produce Reb M. While it is true that the resulting Reb M byproduct is GMO-free, the yeast used to make it are indeed genetically modified. However, the genetically modified yeast used to create this Reb M sweetener are not my primary concern. Rather, it is the fact that steviol glycosides (e.g. Reb M) are genotoxic and mutagenic in vivo.A mutagen is something which causes permanent genetic damage to your DNA.If you're not familiar with in vivo, that means inside the body. While steviol glycoside are not directly mutagenic ex vivo (outside the body), mammalian studies have shown that intestinal microflora convert it (via digestion) to steviol, the aglycone of stevioside, which has been "found to be highly mutagenic" in rodents (source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3887402/ ). Very little peer-reviewed research has been done on humans regarding this, but that which has been done suggests the same occurs in human intestinal microflora (source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12504168/ ).Hopefully, Raw Rev Glo will reverse the decision to use this new controversial ingredient. Use of monk fruit and/or allulose would be ideal. However they are more expensive and for that reason, I'm not holding by breath on them switching.Although safe, chicory root fiber is often considered to be a cheap filler ingredient. It is not found in the old version but contained in the new. This being the first ingredient on the label is disappointing and like many products, manufacturers over time go down in the quality scale to save money. Eventually, they cheapen products past the tipping point, taking them from high to low quality. In my opinion, this is what has happened with Raw Rev Glo vegan protein bars. I do hope they reverse course.

Tasty and good for you
I started to eat mainly a Plant-Based Diet back in January. I tried these raw rev protein bars because I have tried many different protein bars and they’re either too sweet or too dry. I have to say that these protein bars were very good. Rich taste not too sweet, not too dry. It tasted exactly like peanuts and sea salt. 11 Grams of protein per bar. I would buy them again and even try different flavors.

Satiating
This review is for the Crunchy Peanut Butter and Sea Salt flavor - I was excited to try these but ultimately I think I just don't really like the taste. The bars themselves have a good amount of fat, calories, and protein with a chewy/gummy texture that I enjoy and is satiating. They are a good size for a quick snack on the go and have healthy ingredients which I also enjoy. That said, the flavor was way too bland for my taste and so I probably won't try these again - they just didn't have much saltiness or sweetness so while they are nutrionally satiatiting, I didn't find them satisfying to eat.

Obsessed with these bars!
I’ve stuck with Raw Rev through their formula changes and I’m so glad I did. The creamy peanut butter bars are amazing! I personally like the oiliness that some other people complain about. I hate dry bars that fall apart and get crumbs everywhere. These literally melt in your mouth. I’m a Nursing student that also works in a hospital and I consume at least 2 PB bars a day.

Best Bar I’ve Tried
These are the best bars I’ve ever eaten. Somehow they are sweet with no sweeteners. I’ve had problems with the smooth ones and mold but I’ve never had any issues with the crunchy. I love the high fiber content and all the protein. I’d eat them just for taste though. The texture is spot on. I order a couple of boxes every couple of weeks. My five year old even likes them. At 2 grams of sugar I can feel good about any of us having them as a snack or breakfast.

A little oily, but taste great considering the bars are vegan
Pros- No fake sugars and no bloating, vegan, reasonably tasty if you don't compare them to the high sugar bars out there.Cons- texture is a little gummy, very oily.
