Needed it for the tiny USB headers to plug into a fan controller. I had to remove the 10th wire to get the 9-pin USB block to properly connect. But this can easily be pulled out with a slight tug and no tools! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Works for OEM Lenovo F_USB 1 header *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2023* Although this item is a little pricey for what is essentially a small adapter cable of questionable durability (nearly twelve bucks after shipping at the time of writing this review), it does work. I have a Lenovo IdeaCentre Gaming 5 17IAB7 machine and wanted to use the available header, but much to my chagrin I didn't discover the proprietary nature of the OEM header until I'd already purchased a USB 2.0 plate for a vacant PCI slot opening.Installation was a bit tricky, as my standard connector had one blank pin and this adapter has all ten populated. In the end, I broke one off and connected it. The Lenovo F_USB header has 12 pin spots, 11 of which are populated. The easiest was to explain it is to align the 'blank' pin spaces and plug it in that way.
